Java Developer

Job Description

SMA is seeking a Java Developer to work with a small team of professionals in a well-established firm specializing in Application and Database Performance Management. The individual will work with a small team to develop Application and Database Performance Management solutions that integrate with a leading framework. Individual must be personable and able to communicate professionally with customers.


We are in the process of building out the leading Open Source, NoSQL, and Big-Data monitoring solution suite in the industry. The individual should have strong Java development and problem-solving skills. The individual must be self-motivated and willing to work primarily from home. 3-4 years of work experience is a plus. You will be working with a highly technical and analytical team to build solutions that facilitate the management of large distributed applications.

c. Experience with Data Visualization


d. Basic knowledge of Statistics


e. Bonus for experience with Monitoring/Application Performance Management


f. Experience with-SQL Azure, or SAP Hana a plus. Additional knowledge of Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or TIBCO a bonus.


Responsibilities include:


Leveraging scripts and API's to collect performance information from multiple sources including databases, applications, operating systems, and logs. Designing and developing User Dashboards utilizing a platform-specific framework. The individual will be responsible for Conducting QA Testing, Managing Releases and Supporting Production Issues.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/CIS with 3 years' experience required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
